Chlorine Handling Systems Improvements

Work at Howard Bend involved both a relocated, improved chlorine railroad tank car unloading station and a relocated, improved chlorine feed control area. Work at Chain of Rocks involved an improved chlorine railroad tank car unloading station at its existing location.

KWAME Scope:
KWAME performed initial project planning activities for use by the city in soliciting bids for, and accomplishing construction of, these facilities. KWAME prepared an engineer’s estimate of cost to construct. In addition, KWAME developed administrative procedures for use during construction; such as shop drawing control and accomplishing field changes.
