Washington Avenue Streetscape
St. Louis, Missouri

The Washington Avenue Loft District form Tucker to 18th Street is being transformed into a grand cohesive promenade inviting to shoppers, restaurant and club-goers, pedestrians and visitors. Streetscape improvements include widening sidewalks, new lighting, archiectural paving, shade trees and other landscaping, ornamental fixtures and public art.

KWAME Role:
Construction/Program Management

KWAME Scope:
KWAME’s providing CM/Program Management service for the first
project of the Downtown Development action plan. KWAME is responsible for the bidding process, monitoring design development, construction documents, making recommentations for awarding construction contracts, and overseeing contractors during the construction phase. Monituring shop drawings, submitting pay requests and gathering information to submit for change order approvals are also among KWAME’s responsiblities.
