This new federal courthouse is positioned
on 5.5 acres and will anchor an undeveloped
area southwest of downtown St. Louis,
near City Hall. The 29-story precast-concrete-clad
building, which has a stainless steel
dome, will house a total of 25 courtrooms
and includes chambers for more than 50
judges. The art-in-architecture is environmental
in nature and involves a civic master
plan for greenspace. This project is being
developed with public and private funds.
