Library Design/Build Renovation Project
St. Louis, Missouri

KWAME was awarded the contract to manage the $3 million renovation of the Buder Branch of the St. Louis Public Library. KWAME was hired as project manager to serve as the agent to the St. Louis Public Library. This renovation was a conversion project from a bank building to a library.

KWAME Scope:
KWAME was involved in design services and construction administration which included estimating as well as developing a total project budget. An investigation to determine the properties of the soil in the vicinity of the building was necessary. Concrete and reinforcing steel testing were needed due to the increased load of books applied to the structure.
