Mc Donnell Pediatrics Research Building
St. Louis, Missouri

This project is a new 10-story, 226,000 square foot Pediatrics Research Building which will consolidate work performed at five separate laboratory buildings on the Washington University Medical School Campus. Pediatric laboratories will occupy about half of the building; other basic and clinical research programs will occupy the other half. KWAME’s responsibilities include interfacing for transfer of information and resolution of technical issues.

KWAME Scope:
As a project engineer subconsultant, KWAME is providing construction management support to the design/build team. This support includes participation in preparation of construction schedule and pre-construciton conferences, implementing shop drawing procedures, and reviewing and approving submittals. In addition, KWAME is responsible for updating field drawings and specifications, and maintaining and publishing logs showing the current status of bid package documents.
