This project entailed a complete analysis of airport grounds and
facilities for seismic activity or damage. Relevant data for the
overall airport system and its key components were compiled and
assessed. Seismic performance requirements and associated strengthening
design and planning criteria were established. Current emergency
response planning measures for the airport were reviewed.

KWAME Scope:
The scope included a complete seismic analysis of over 40 existing
airport buildings and 5 structures. Both structural and non-structural
components were inventoried and analyzed. Seismic retrofit concepts
and related costs were compiled for budgeting toward future renovation
work and capital planning.
